Fatal Accident on I-91

blurb: Seventy five year old woman killed while attempting to save a cat.

Text: A fatal accident occurred Sunday when a seventy five year old woman was struck by a vehicle while attempting to save a cat that was in the median. The driver, a Connecticut man(28), attained no serious injuries as a result of the collision. The police are asking for information from anyone who may have witnessed the incident, the number is 802-254-2382.

  1. Good headline. Good blurb (watch spelling).
    If you break up the text into three paragraphs, it would read quicker. Journalistically, you would want to include the victim's name and hometown, and the driver's name, and the location of the accident.
